About Razorock’s triple-milled shaving soaps
Triple-milled soaps are the gold standard and have been for years and years. They produce an excellent lather that leads to an exquisite shave. A soap is milled by mixing in the ingredients and fragrances while squeezing out air and moisture with massive amounts of pressure creating an exceptionally dense, long-lasting soap. In fact, “triple milled” soaps are often milled more than three times. It’s a labor-intensive process that, unfortunately, has lost favor as faster and easier soap making processes have been developed. It’s somewhat of a dying art.
It’s not easy finding shops that can do it. Luckily, Razorock was able to connect with a four-person, family-owned artisan soap making outfit in northern Italy. After many experiments with the formula, they’ve finally produced a hard puck soap worthy of the Razorock brand name — it’s an incredible product at an incredible price.
This triple-milled recipe is enriched with shea butter and lanolin. Lanolin leaves a lightweight, nourishing film on your skin that many people find pleasant. It leaves your skin extra soft and moisturized and generally disappears completely after an hour or two.
About the lime burst scent
This lime fragrance is tart and citrusy. It smells like someone squeezed a fresh lime into your shaving soap and then added just a hint of sugary sweetness. Smells great in the morning.
